Fairy Halloween costumes are always a hit no matter which Halloween party or club you attend. I wonder if I will see women with this costume painted on in LA LA Land this year. I’ve never understood why body paint is a growing trend for Halloween in LA and Las Vegas. It just seems way to cold on Halloween to be in just body paint…but to each their own. Halloween is right around the corner and I already have taken a trip to the Halloween stores in my neighborhood. This year I’ve decided to be a nurse and my husband will be a doctor. I saw a picture of Christina Aguilera and her husband as a nurse and doctor a few years back and wanted to re-create the look. I purchased my naughty nurse Halloween costume through Yandy.com.  Every year thousands and thousands of women wear fishnets so I wanted to give them a rest this year so my naughty nurse  costume will not consist of fishnet;  instead I will wear skin tone thigh highs with a red top. Since I decided not to wear fishnets or the white thigh highs I’m going to cute off the bows and sew them on to my sleeves of my costume. I really love the red belt that’s really the reason I choose to be a naughty nurse for Halloween this year. I also picked up some lace ruffle boyshorts from Fredricks of Hollywood to complete my outfit. My makeup will resemble a 1950′s pin up girl with red lips. I just brought the new L’oreal infallible lip color in Beyonce red. The color stays on all day and all night which will be perfect for Halloween and my husband wont have lipstick on him.

As I was looking through all of the different Halloween costumes I noticed everyone is starting to capitalized on Lady Gaga Halloween costumes for 2010. Last year I saw one person who was dressed up as Lady Gaga and it was a fierce outfit( the girl made the costume her self..I was like right on girlfriend). This year you can buy your own Lady Gaga Halloween costume. One of the costumes I really fancied was the Blue Swimsuit Adult Costume that Lady Gaga wore in poker face. Halloween 2010 is right around the corner and if your like me you love Halloween. I love to get dressed up and transform into a different character. This year (2010) Halloween will be on a Sunday so I get to dress up all weekend and go to Halloween parties Friday-Sunday. As a lady you can’t have the perfect Halloween costume without the perfect Halloween purse. I came across a few to share with you all. If your Alice from Alice in Wonderland this year your costume won’t be complete with out your little white rabbit plush purse that is. I found a cute white rabbit purse for $19.99. Also, if you are going to be a sailor you would want a lifepreserver purse to save you and this Halloween purse retails for $12.99. Since I’m going to be a nurse I will need to buy a nurse handbag which retails for $12.99. If your going to be a Bee for Halloween this honey pot purse would be delightful and retails for $12.99.

Halloween has come and gone now all that’s left are the memories and photos. I had a great time Saturday night due however due to the high volume of tickets sold my sister and good friend were not able to attend. The event I went to was club BLVD 3 and they changed the name to be Black Peal for the night. The club was transformed into a pirate ship and had aerialist and stuntmen doing crazy sword fights and tricks all night long. The best part was seeing a live 30 person dance performance at midnight…it was pretty cool. As mentioned before I went as a cat, my husband was Lt, Dangle from Reno 911 and his best friend went an a convict with a huge Afro. I saw a lot of great costumes such as: Fred and Wilma Flintstone, Bonnie and Clyde, Gold-diggers, Lady Ga Ga and my favorite Iron man. Here are a few pictures from the nights festivities.

Halloween will be here in no time and it’s time to start thinking about couples Halloween costumes. It’s always better/cuter if you can dress up and have your Boo match your costume.  Three years ago I had a friend make me a cave girl Halloween costume based off  the Destiny Child’s survivor video and my now husband was a caveman. Last year I was a dominatrix and my husband was a priest. Next year I’m thinking about being a 70′s disco girl with a huge Afro and my husband wants to be either a 70′s  disco guy with a blond Afro (my husband is German, blond hair green eyes) or a 70′s pimp (not sure why he’s fascinated with old school pimps…I think he wants an excuse to wear a long fur coat). Here are a few Halloween couple costumes that are really cute. I really like the idea of  Fred and Wilma Flintstones. Also, the classic football player and cheerleader costume. I really like the idea of a Playboy bunny Halloween Hugh Hefner costume. I think Little Red Riding hood and The Big Bad Wolf is a really cute idea. A new costume this year that is cute is Olive Oil and Popeye the sailor.

Halloween is creeping up  fast so it’s time to think about what you will be carrying on your arm or shoulder that will match your Halloween costume Halloween night. The worst thing you can do is have a great looking costume and carrying your everyday bag with it. If your going to go ALL OUT with your costume you should at least have a bag/purse that matches. Over the past few years costumes stores have been making purses that actually match the costume you are looking for. For myself being a black cat for Halloween I’m thinking about getting a purse that looks like a bowl of milk or making a furry little bag to keep my ID and lipstick in either way it will match my costume to the tee. Here are a few purses I found that look really cute. If you are going to be a pirate this year here is a really cute pirate treasure chest purse it retails for $22.99. Also, if your going to be a sexy gangster or bank robber you’ll need a purse to put all of your loot in so here is a gangster purse that retails for $7.99.  Last, but certainly not least you will need a purse if your going to be a 1940′s flapper and here is one for $14.99. I didn’t want to leave out my handsome men out there that love Halloween or that will have to attend a Halloween party because there wife or girlfriend said so. So this post is for you in mind. A lot of the men’s  Halloween costumes will be repeats from Halloween’s past. You guys could put your costume together so its more original however, you can only go so far in less you have a woman’s help (sorry but it’s true). My husband this year will be Reno 911 Lt. Dangle. He didn’t want to be anything scary as he was in Halloween’s past, he wanted something very fun and to get a few laughs out of people when they see him. The Reno 911 Lt. Dangle costume retails for $32.99. This year a lot of people will be dressed up as the late King of Pop so I wouldn’t recommend it in less you really want to but  you will be in a sea of clones. Another neat looking costume is The Wizard of Oz Scarecrow this is the first time I’ve seen this costume but it could have been around last year and I just didn’t notice it this retails for $46.99 this would be a great couples costume if you have a Dorthy.
