Mens Halloween costumes

October2

I didn’t want to leave out my handsome men out there that love Halloween or that will have to attend a Halloween party because there wife or girlfriend said so. So this post is for you in mind. A lot of the men’s  Halloween costumes will be repeats from Halloween’s past. You guys could put your costume together so its more original however, you can only go so far in less you have a woman’s help (sorry but it’s true). My husband this year will be Reno 911 Lt. Dangle. He didn’t want to be anything scary as he was in Halloween’s past, he wanted something very fun and to get a few laughs out of people when they see him. The Reno 911 Lt. Dangle costume retails for $32.99. This year a lot of people will be dressed up as the late King of Pop so I wouldn’t recommend it in less you really want to but  you will be in a sea of clones. Another neat looking costume is The Wizard of Oz Scarecrow this is the first time I’ve seen this costume but it could have been around last year and I just didn’t notice it this retails for $46.99 this would be a great couples costume if you have a Dorthy.

Halloween Cat Makeup

September18

As you know I’m going to be a black cat for Halloween. I’m contemplating if I should do my own makeup this year or go to the makeup counter (I love getting my makeup done). While looking around youtube I found a great video how to do your own cat makeup for Halloween. This has left me thinking I should do my own makeup for Halloween. Check out the video. Now all I need is the right purse and maybe a kitty collar more on Halloween accessories later.

Angel Halloween costume

September4

As you may know I love, love, love Halloween not for what it represents but because I love to dress up in Halloween costumes. I have another costume look if you don’t want to look like everyone else, if your going to a Halloween party or club Friday or Saturday night. Two years ago I was an Angel for Halloween I wore a  White Sheer Marabou Babydoll dress from Frederick’s of Hollywood, wings with a bit of glitter, a halo and white fishnet stockings, white boyshorts, and white booties.  You could change the angel Halloween costume to a devil Halloween costume by buying the red sheer marabou babydool dress and red horns, tail, and a pitch fork. Now for the pricing the White Sheer Marabou Babydoll dress from Fredericks of Hollywood is $19.99 right now its on sale the angle wings I brought from party city for $9.99 and the Halo for $4.99 the cool thing about the wings and the halo is the marabou trim so it keeps the look in unison. The boy shorts you can buy anywhere just don’t get any with lace because it wont look right. You could wear any white shoes you could wear white tights or sheer tights with a shimmer that would look really cute be sure to wear all stockings under the boy-shorts. Remember Fredericks of Hollywood is having a sale of 15% off until the end of October.

Cat Halloween Costume

August21

As mentioned earlier in the week it’s time to talk about my 2009 Cat Halloween costume. I know it may seem a bit early but Halloween is only 10 weeks away and it’s on a Saturday night so there is no excuse for any of my friends not to go. This year I’ve decided to be a CAT well a sexy cat (why is it that every woman’s costume has sexy in front of it is society trying to tell us something?) Since I really like Halloween I always go all out and I never want to look like anyone else because you always see the same costumes in stores every year Sexy: angle, devil, some celebrity, cat woman, fairies, 1950’s flapper, cow girl, Indian, and a nurse. I brought my cat ears and extra long tail from Amazon for $8.88 I really love the silver sequin lining in the ears and the price wasn’t a bad deal either. I wanted the rest of my costume to look very different from what the Halloween stores were selling so I brought a Marabou fringed baby doll dress and a long boa from Amazon for $3.99 that is 72 inches long. The Black marabou baby doll dress was purchased through an outside buyer however Frederick’s of Hollywood has white and red ones for $29.99 I plan to cut to make furry wrist cuffs and a choker and if any is left over I will pit fur on the top of my shoes and at the end of my tail to give it a bushy look (the white dress can be an angel, rabbit, or a white cat). I plan to wear shorts and some type of long tank top underneath so it’s not see through. I tend to get really creative for Halloween (can you tell). I can wait to be a Cat for Halloween. To save the best for last Fredericks of Hollywood is has 15% off everything until September 30th click here.
