Menswear with a feminine touch is this years falls fashion trend. Menswear is flattering on women and can be mixed with feminine pieces for a balanced look. If you are interested in incorporating menswear into your  style you should try out different types of menswear options to see which piece is right for you. Incorporate one piece of menswear at a time to avoid a cluttered outfit. When worn correctly, menswear on women is at once both structured and glamorous. For example a mans watch is an ultra chic piece such as this inexpensive one from the15dollarstore for $15.00. Another look is a fitted blazer such as the one from the Lauren Conrad line from Kohls which retails for $41.99. The earrings are Forever21. Throw on a pair of skinny jeans and riding boots and your set to go.

This years fall trend is military. So I don’t necessary like the trend with the jackets but I do like to incorporate some of the military colors into my wardrobe. I found a really pretty army green blouse from Kohl’s recently from the LC (Lauren Conrad) line. As many of you know I really am in love with her collection and its very affordable. The army green satin pintuck tunic has lace trim around the neckline which give it an added flare; and is the reason I chose this blouse. It also has cuffed 3/4 length sleeves that have a button. The blouse comes in army green and beige and is on sale for $27.99.

I wrote a post last week about the LC Lauren Conrad line for Kohls which I really love. I have to be honest I didn’t like her first line that came out because it was basic and over priced. However, she completely revamped everything and now it’s an affordable line that is cute a sassy. I just purchased the floral sheath dress on sale for $39.00. I put some fabulousness into the dress by pairing it with a dark grey waist belt and it made the dress look super trendy. Also, I really love the blue ruffled dress which is also on sale for $39.00. I like that it already comes with a belt.

I recently came across  Lauren Conrad’s line in Kohls Sundays advertisement section of the newspaper. I really like some of the clothing by Lauren Conrad’s line called LC for Kohls. There is a floral  asymmetrical dress from LC’s line that’s on sale for $44.00 right now. I like the floral graphic and the dress would look great with a black belt.

It seems everywhere I look I see embellished headbands either bows or feathers.  I should have know when I saw Lauren Conrad  from The Hills and Whitney Port from The City wearing them that everyone would start rocking the look. I have to admit I’m still on the fence about the bird feathers but I do like the jeweled headbands. I was in jury duty earlier this week and noticed a young lady wearing a bird feather headband and thought it was kind of cute with her casual outfit. Perhaps I just need to find the right outfit to wear it with. I found a feather headband at wet seal for $5.50 and a cute flower headband from Target for $7.99

Lately I’ve seen allot of Celebrities wearing the hippie headband look such as Lauren Conrad from the MTV hit reality show The Hills. I personally really hate this look. What do you think… would you rock the headband or not? I first came across this picture at: Blaq. Vixen. Beauty

I don’t mean it literally but the new trend for the spring 09 is the boyfriend jacket. You can either pair it with skinny jeans and a nice top or like I recently saw the MTV hit “The Hills” Lauren Conrad wear it with a floral flowy skirt and a fitted shirt underneath. Everything paired with nice heels.

My favorite at the moment is a blazer from spiegel.com it’s their signature stretch fitted jacket and the price isn’t bad either it’s only $49.00 or even better if you head over to amazon you can get an Isaac Mizrahi blazer for $11.24 on clearance can’t beat that price. You could always go to the boys section in a department store and see what blazers they have and the price will be cheaper and the jacket will be more fitted.  This blazer can be found at Bloomingdale’s
