I love maxi dresses; I especially love them when they are long enough for my 5’11 slim frame. Here are a few that I have in my closet at the moment from Forever 21. The first dress is called the Aztec Maxi Dress which is shown in teal/olive but also comes in black and white. The maxi retails for $19.90 which a great deal for a floor length maxi. The next maxi dress is called the Electric Hipster and retails for $24.80. I really love the color pattern in this dress which give a 70′s vibe, just pair it with some gold bangles and you are  set to go. The next is the Eyelet Maxi Dress which is all white and retails for $28.90 . I absolutely love wearing all white in the summer with gold accessories too.

In Socal we had a wave of summer for about 72 hours so It got me thinking of  summer dresses. I recently purchased a dress called a Bouquet & Flowers Dress for $11.50 from Forever21. It was a deal to good to pass up. Since I always go for black I decided to brighten up my wardrobe with some color so I got the dress in red. I actually may go back and get the black one because it is just so cute. To go with the dress I brought a denim vest for $19.90 to spice things up and I am glad I did.

In a few months I have a wedding to attend (I love going to weddings). Which means I will need a dress to wear for a college friends June wedding. In the summer I really love to wear colors that are really bright and pop but I also need to keep in mind that this is a wedding and I  need to keep everything classy. I have come up with a few looks that I have in mind. The first dress is from Modcloth.com  this  Lilac It Like That Dress retails for $149.99 and is super cute! The perfect V-neckline and its pinafore inspired shoulder straps gives this lilac beauty an old Hollywood glamor look. The Teal dress is also from Modcloth.com and is $59.99. This dress is called the Beach Banquet dress which is a lined dress with a sheer overlay.  The cool effect of the dress is that the outer layer has a metallic floral pattern that reflects light. At the moment I just don’t know which one to choose. What do you guys think?

I came across a fashion website called LULu’s and it’s a wonderful website for juniors clothing. I’m really in love with this orange multicolored strapless dress that retails for $52.00. Also check out this lovely coral romper that has printed sailboats, antique steering wheels, anchors and seagulls adding chic, nautical vibes. The romper retails for $43.00 doesn’t it just scream summer.

Since the count down has begun to my birthday I have decided to contemplate what I would like as a gift from my husband. I was looking at summer dresses and really like the tie-dye look as a cute fun and chic dress for the warm weather. I stumbled upon Gypsy05.com and came across some favorite’s. I really like the dress the Liyah off shoulder asymmetrical dress that Ashley Tisdale is wearing  that retails for $132.00. Then again I really like the Alex silk tie-dye tank in pink which retails for $110.00

I saw a picture of Reese Witherspoon in a magazine yesterday and noticed that most of her dresses are loose and look very comfortable. So I started thinking how cute it would be to actually have a weekend dress that was not form fitting so on the days I feel a bit bloated or just fat I could wear and still look chic. I couldn’t resist myself and I brought a Ameerah Woven Dress from forever21.com in black it only cost $24.90. I was thinking how cute it would look to add a big chunky necklace to the outfit. I found the perfect black/silver tone disc necklace at Khols.com for $12.60. The entire outfit would look great with any jelwed sandal.

As we all know summer is right around the corner and it’s all ready starting to warm up. I love summer time and not because my birthday is during summer months…but because I can wear pretty girlie dresses with beautiful jeweled sandals. Alloy has summer dresses that are really chic and girlie. I really love the belted crochet-trim dress with pockets it retails for $39.50 and if your style is more bohemian there’s this paisley tunic dress that is $44.50 it looks really cute with the brown belt. Last but not least is another favorite summer dress that can be versatile and worn at night is the floral belted dress I would pair it with a skinny or wide belt to make it more of a night look.
