With the rain hitting Southern California very hard with multiple storms this week I really wish I had a pair of rain boots to keep my feet dry this rainy season. I was walking through campus this week and a lot of girls here are wearing: Uggs, Bearclaws, etc. in other words they are wearing snow boots which means velvet and sheep skin linings which get very wet and destroyed with weather like this. I have to admit I also fell guilty of this and my feet are now wet! My solution…..rain boots to save the day. I found a few that look really chic take a look below. I really love the color silver and Hunter rain boots have boots in that color that retail for $115.00. Another pair of rain boots I found is from Target which are women’s mod dot rain boots for $24.99. In route to Valentine’s Day Burberry has painted heart rain boots that retail for $195.00.

As I was looking through my Sunday paper I noticed some cute sweaters from Target for $15.00! The are called boyfriend sweaters now, I’m not sure why everything this year has to be boyfriend this and boyfriend that such as the boyfriend jeans the boyfriend jacket etc. Well come to think of it if you wear anything with the word boyfriend in the title you know your fit and look will be relaxed and loose which is always comfty. Well that’s enough rambling lets get to the looks below. All of the boyfriend sweaters below are by Mossimo and are $15.oo they are in the juniors section however found them to long enough for my long arms. I believe the sweaters are an online exclusive so you may not find them at this price in stores. I really like both colors there are more colors to choose from even solid colors.

A trend that is hot at the moment is turquoise jewelry. I’ve seen really expensive pieces and a lot of affordable pieces that look great. Target has a lot of great turquoise jewelry that is usually under $50.00. I found a really cute layered turquoise necklace that retails for $49.99. Also at target I came across a S-Bar enamel bracelet with gold accents that retails for $18.00. Last but not least a turquoise ring with paved border for $24.99.

A trend that is seen all over the place are tribal prints. Its a chic and fun way to play up color in your wardrobe. I saw Nichole Richie and Paris Hilton wearing the prints and thought the look was very cute. I was able to find other tribal prints with Banana Republic for $99.99 on sale and another tribal print dress with blue accents for $150.00. If that doesn’t fit your budget I also found a tribal print dress from Target for $17.99.

It seems everywhere I look I see embellished headbands either bows or feathers.  I should have know when I saw Lauren Conrad  from The Hills and Whitney Port from The City wearing them that everyone would start rocking the look. I have to admit I’m still on the fence about the bird feathers but I do like the jeweled headbands. I was in jury duty earlier this week and noticed a young lady wearing a bird feather headband and thought it was kind of cute with her casual outfit. Perhaps I just need to find the right outfit to wear it with. I found a feather headband at wet seal for $5.50 and a cute flower headband from Target for $7.99

I found this really cute purple satin dress from target for $39.99 and thought it would be a pretty Easter dress. It could be paired with heels or these black flats from cutesygirl that retail for $16.99. Sometimes church service can last longer than the arches in your feet can take.

Easter is around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about what to wear when you go to church on Easter Sunday; here are a few ideas. There is a forever 21 satin chiffon ruffle dress in purple that retails for $29.80. The new trend this season is large floral print dresses. I found a really cute printed strapless dress from bebe which retails for $129.00. This dress would look lovely with a white or pink cardigan; I thought these white heels would look cute with the  dress. I also found some black heels from the15dollarstore.

My obsession at the moment is to find myself a nice leather bomber jacket. I’ve seen it a lot lately however, I’m not able to find one that has the arm length I’m looking for…mind you I’m 5’11 and my arm length is 24.5 inches long. Does anyone have any clue as to where I can get a fitted motorcycle bomber leather jacket? It could even be faux leather just as long as it looks good. Here are a few I’ve found thus far.

The first jacket is the color bronze from Target and it retails for $14.99 and the second jacket is from AW Rust which retails for €89.00 and the last picture is sold out. I actually like the last picture  the best and I can’t find a similar one anywhere. I’m sad at the moment.
