I came across a tiered mesh skirt and my mind went straight to Carrie Bradshaw. I found this tiered mesh skirt at Wetseal on sale for $10.00 and the basic pink tank is from Forever21 and retails for $4.80. It looks pretty similar to the skirt Carrie wore during the opening credits of the Sex and The City seris on HBO. I thought I would share something cute and girlie because sometimes you just need to step your fashion outside the box.

Now that I’m on a university campus again it’s interesting to see what the ladies are wearing to school. Granted, there are a select few that actually dress up as if it’s a fashion show but for the most part the ladies are dressed pretty casual. I would say to anyone who goes to school (or in life for that matter) it’s an absolute no-no to wear leggings and a short shirt I don’t care how skinny you are. For some reason I see a lot of this on my campus. The rule to wearing leggings is to wear a shirt or sweater that at least covers your bottom. Another look I see on campus is the riding boots which are really cute. Lately I’ve seen a lot of ladies wear them in a cognac color with straight leg pants tucked in and a light colored shirt. Since I travel pretty far for school there is a drastic weather change and I just purchased a grey fleece pea coat from Wetseal for $39.99. Normally a sweater would be sufficient but I have a night class and it can get pretty cold .

Soon it will be time to say good-bye to summer. Students will start school in a short few days and for myself in a few weeks. I found a really cute Button sleeve scarf tunic at WetSeal for $22.50 I love the color but feel if I buy it, it may be too much for the fall isn’t the rule not to wear white after labor day or is the rule for all white outfits? While doing my weekly website window shopping I cam a cross a very cute faux leather vest with a stud accent from Wetseal for $22.50. This stud vest would look great for either the first day of school or at least the week of school you want to set a good impression with your fashion. I also found a pair of cute revolt destroyed  love jeans from Alloy.com which retails for $29.52 that will tie in the whole look.

Is it just me or does it seem that this summer is flying by. It’s already August and soon everyone will be buying back to school clothes and the sales for back to school items will be up for grabs. It’s time to buy pencil’s, backpacks, and most importantly paper. When I was younger this was my favorite time of year. I couldn’t wait to have my father take me shopping for all of the latest and chic clothes. My love for clothes has been with me for a long time I believe it all stared with my barbies and dressing them up then it transferred to my own wardrobe as a child. I’m sure what fuels my addiction for chic and beautiful clothing was my mothers love for clothes as well. Enough about me lets get to the back to school clothing that will send any young lady in a frenzy. I found a really cute button front cami romper from Wetseal for $27.50 and they have a sale if you  buy one you get one for 50% off. I also found a really chic casual moto jacket for $16.90 the jacket also comes in black.

I just wanted to let you guys know if you haven’t purchased your boyfriend jacket yet don’t wait to long because they are almost gone from Wetseal. I went to  Wetseal over the weekend and asked the store clerk if they had any and I was advised they didn’t receive the shipment yet. I’m not sure if it was just the store I went to or all stores. I purchased mine online today and the site says only a few left. All smalls are sold out.

I just wanted to update my findings from my last post about the boyfriend jacket. I came across a one button boyfriend jacket at Wetseal for $38.50 it comes in small, medium, and large. It’s actually a good knock off from the jacket from my other post of the boyfriend jacket from Bloomindales which is $88.00.  Not bad for Wetseal though.
